Brooke Gale - Counselor - Student Last Names A-L

Room: Counseling Center

Phone: 480-883-5414

Welcome!

Hello ACP Knights! My name is Brooke Gale and I am excited to be here. I have been a school counselor for many years and prior to that I was a youth a family counselor. I also spent a few years teaching and I love working with middle school students and their families. My husband and I have four grown kids and a very stubborn French bull dog. I am from the Northwest - grew up in Seattle, but most recently from Portland Oregon. I love hiking, travel, reading, and art.

My Education and Professional Background

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling.  I am Nationally Certified in both Counseling and School Counseling.  I also speak Spanish.

I spent the last 10 years working at a high school in Oregon, but I have experience working with students from preschool through college and families.

My Educational Philosophy

I believe that success in school takes a village. I think it is critical to come together as parents, teachers, and the community to support each and every student. As a counselor I work hard to create a safe space, to meet every student where they are, and to help them navigate the challenges of school and life. Middle school is a time of tremendous change and growth as students are figuring out so many new things. I love being part of their journey, helping them excel academically and supporting them to become outstanding human beings.
