Meet the Coach

Mrs. Sakauye competed in Speech and Debate from 2013 to 2016 in Expository Speaking, Program Oral Interpretation, and Public Forum Debate.  Upon her high school graduation, she immediately began volunteering to judge at local tournaments.  She began coaching at ACP Middle School in 2022 and is excited to continue helping team members improve their confidence, speaking ability, and logical reasoning skills.

Mrs. Sakauye holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Mathematics and a Masters of Education in Secondary Education, both from ASU.  She enjoys eating good food, playing violin, and spending time with her husband and three cats.
