Open Enrollment Capacity
Open Enrollment enables Arizona students to attend public schools outside their attendance area. In accordance with state law, the District has established an open enrollment policy and implemented an open enrollment program without charging tuition for non-resident students and resident transfer students. Open Enrollment applications may be submitted online (elementary) or via email or in-person at our junior high and high schools.
Per district policy 5-105 and 5-105A and ARS 15-816, acceptance of a student's Open Enrollment will be based on site capacity, the students' prior discipline, grades and/or attendance. Please note that the district does not transport open enrollment students.

Open Enrollment Overview
The Chandler Unified School District is a premier district of choice. Academic achievement is a high priority in the district as evidenced by test scores which exceed state and national averages. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding educational programs at all grade levels. Open Enrollment enables Arizona students to attend public schools outside their attendance area. Arizona College Preparatory Middle School (ACPMS) is a community-oriented campus with comprehensive course offerings for all students. ACP consists of two campuses with ACP Middle School enrolling students in grades 6-8 and ACP High School enrolling students in grades 9-12. We have adapted our enrollment process to ensure that we continue to provide equal opportunities to all families who wish to attend ACP.
In an effort to ensure an equitable application process, Open Enrollment for ACP Middle School is only accepted via our live online application platform.
